Running Club News- Students in grades 1-4 will have their first meeting today until 4:30p.m. Grades 5-8 have Running Club tomorrow until 4:30p.m. Students should wear their gym uniform pants/shorts and their Running Club t-shirt.

2008-09 Tuition- An email regarding new tuition rates was sent to you before April vacation. Your family’s non-refundable 10% deposit will be due on May 15th so please plan for ahead. Look for tuition packets next week in your child’s backpack.

Play Practice- Students in grades 3-8 have play practice on Wednesday and Thursday until 5:30p.m. These are our final rehearsal days. Attendance is mandatory!

Grade 4 News- Students in grade 4 are going on a field trip to see a performance at UMass Lowell on Wednesday, April 30th. All students need an official SMS permission slip to attend.

Ascension Thursday- The students in grade 5B invite you to attend Ascension Thursday Mass with our school family on May 1st at 9:15a.m. This marks forty days since Jesus’ resurrection when he ascends into heaven.

First Friday- The students in grade 4B invite you to attend First Friday Mass with our school family on May 2nd at 9:15a.m.

Lost & Found- All items not claimed in Lost and Found will be donated to St. Vincent DePaul Society. The items will be cleaned out on April 30th.

AM Care- If your family will be in need of AM Care from 9a.m.-11:45a.m. next year, please send a note into the office. We do not normally offer any AM Care but are open to the possibility of offering some type of program, not a drop-in program like our current Ext. Day Care, if there is a need.

First Communion- We kindly ask you to keep our second grade students in your prayers as they prepare to make their First Holy Communion on May 3rd at 1:30p.m in the church.

Shrek- The school play is SOLD OUT! With 126 students in grades 3-8 in the cast, tickets went fast! The play will be held this weekend, May 2-4.

Half Day May 7th- Please mark your calendars for a half day of school on May 7th. Dismissal will be at 12:15p.m. for all grades (including AM sessions of nursery, pre-k and k). This is a town-wide early dismissal day so buses home are available.

Informal Uniforms- Skorts are not part of the SMS uniform. Although you may see them at the uniform store or at your local department store, they are not considered SMS uniform and should not be worn in replacement of shorts/pants/jumper/skirt.

Parking Lot Reminders-The drop off area is along the sidewalk near the paper recycling dumpsters. Your child should exit from the right side of the car onto the sidewalk. Do not wait until your child is at the play area to let your child out. This holds up all of the cars. If you are parking, park in marked spaces only. Do not block the driveway or park in the crosswalk. At dismissal, please back into your parking spaces. The lot is locked at 3:05p.m. and opened at 3:15p.m. No cars should move until the lot is open. No one should park on Maple Avenue or in the teacher’s lot.
