Welcome to the third grade!  We are going to have a fantastic school year.

This is my twelfth year teaching at Saint Michael School.  I was hired to teach the third grade in August of 1999.
 
I knew from a very early age that I wanted to become a teacher.  I come from a family of educators and like them I wanted to make a difference in children's lives.   I went to Framingham State College and majored in Early Childhood Education.  After college I began teaching at SMS. It didn’t take me long to figure out that this was where I was going to stay. I fell in love with the children and staff. SMS has always been FAMILY.

Several years ago I pursued my Master’s degree in Technology in Education at Lesley University. I enjoy using different types of technology to enhance the students’ learning.

I LOVE teaching the third grade! I try to make my classroom a positive learning environment where everybody feels comfortable participating in the act of learning.
