Mrs. Sullivan - Grade 4 (Room 4B)
Welcome to Grade 4B. I have been at Saint Michael’s School both in the role as a parent and teacher. It was in 1995 that I first walked into Mrs. Butler’s classroom to tour the kindergarten, and I immediately knew that this was a place that both my daughter and our entire family wanted to be a part of. Back then Saint Michael School was a little bit smaller than today, but it offered an outstanding curriculum, strong values, and a welcoming environment. Some things never change!! Well, several years later, both of our girls have graduated from Saint Michael School and have gone off to higher education as strong and well educated individuals.
I graduated from Merrimack College with a degree in Medical Technology and Bentley University with a Masters in Business Administration. With that I spent several years in the Chemistry Laboratory in a Boston Hospital, and then in Health Care Administration at the same hospital. Then my career totally changed, and I became a mother of two wonderful girls. I then realized that I loved working with children and entered the work force when my youngest went to first grade.
I went back to school and received a Masters in Education from AIC in Springfield and began working at Saint Michael School. I am here because I believe in this school. I have worked at Saint Michaels for 10 years, 5 years as a substitute, and for the past five years in 4B.
I look forward every day to working with the children in grade 4. Each day I try to bring enough enthusiasm to the classroom so that each child is engaged in our classroom activities. We work hard each day in a caring and considerate environment. My expectation is for each child to leave grade 4 with strong Christian values and rich in knowledge, so that they can continue on as successful individuals.
