Welcome to Saint Michael School. I came to Saint Michael School in September, 2000. I had retired from teaching for 27 years in the North Andover Public Schools. Teaching has always been my passion in life. Between raising six children and teaching Kindergarten for twelve years and second grade for fifteen years, working with children has been the fabric of my life. My job at Saint Michael involves helping all the children and teachers in whatever they need. It might be taking a child’s hand and walking and talking with them or putting papers into alphabetical order. Sometimes, I can be the second pair of “eyes and ears” in a busy classroom. I also manage the No Child Left Behind funds and paperwork. The seventh grade students collect and dispose of the paper recyclables and I help to organize and supervise that. It seems that I have all the best part of working with children in my Saint Michael School life and I feel blessed to be here. The whole Saint Michael Community, school and parish, are truly a shining example of Catholic teachings in action.
