Welcome to Kindergarten!

I am thrilled and honored to be a part of the St. Michael's School family!  I cannot wait to begin this school year in such a warm and inviting environment!

My teaching career began in 1978 in Kindergarten at the Venerini Sisters Day Care and Nursery.  This is where I fell in love with Early Childhood Education as well as Religious Ed.  Since then, I completed my Master of Education, and have been blessed to teach students from Nursery to Adult, in various capacities.  I have been involved with religious instruction, such as; Sacramental Preparation, C.C.D., Protecting God's Children Programs, and directing Children's Choirs.  I have also worked in the Children's Room at the Lawrence Public Library, where my love for teaching literacy blossomed.  For the last 13 years, I have enjoyed working at St. Mary's School as an Early Childhood Educator.  All of these experiences have broadened and enriched my educational career.

My goal for my students is to experience how learning can be challenging and fun at the same time.  This is an important year for the children to grow academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.

Once again, I am delighted to be here at SMS.  I am looking forward to an exciting year in Kindergarten with my students and their families.

Welcome to the Saint Michael School Kindergarten Program. Kindergarten meets for three full days and two morning half days. Monday and Friday are the morning half day session and Tuesday through Friday the children stay a full day from 9am to 3:15pm
