Mrs. Gosselin - Principal
Welcome to Saint Michael School. I first came to St. Michael School in 1995 when I accepted a teaching position in grade three. I had always wanted to teach third grade because I absolutely loved third grade when I was a child. Additionally, I come from a family of teachers including my mother, sister, aunts and uncles so teaching just seemed natural to me. During those six years in third grade, I completed my graduate degree at Lesley University and enrolled in a leadership program through the Archdiocese of Boston. In the spring of 2001, I was offered the position of principal of St. Michael School and accepted happily knowing I would now have an opportunity to work with students, parents and teachers at a variety of levels. I’m now beginning my tenth year of leadership of St. Michael School. I consider the children of our school my own…525 smiling faces and am looking forward to getting to know more about your child.
Saint Michael School promotes gospel values through prayer, religious instruction and community outreach. We strive to carry on the spirit of faith and love initiated by the Sisters of Charity of Halifax. Our staff is committed to offering you a quality education in a safe, caring and friendly atmosphere. In addition to the strong academic foundation your child will receive here, he or she will develop friendships, leadership skills, responsibility, a Catholic identity, and self-discipline.
We recognize that you have made several sacrifices to send your child to a Catholic school. Please know that your child is in excellent hands when you drop him or her off at our doors. We work in collaboration with parents to provide the very best Catholic education we can to our students.
In closing, please know I have an open door policy and encourage parents to drop by and visit to share ideas, concerns or to just say hello. If there is anything I can do to assist you or your child during the year, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Yours in Christ,
Susan Gosselin
