Mrs. Dore - Kindergarten

Welcome to Kindergarten!

This is my sixth year teaching Kindergarten at Saint Michael School and I truly enjoy the children, staff and families in our community.  Before moving to my current position I was the Kindergarten teacher at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School and a Pre-K teacher at Kids Count.

I have two teaching degrees in Early Childhood Education and have close to thirty years of teaching experience.  I hold as much enthusiasm today toward shaping young minds as I did at my first teaching position.  My goal is to provide my students with a positive start to their education.  I want every student to leave my class at the end of the year with a strong sense of self and with a burning desire to return to school to continue their education.

My philosophy is to offer a loving, social environment that will allow my students to learn in a cooperative and respectful manner.  My goal is for my students to be enthusiastic about learning as individuals and as a group, while exploring all the world has to offer them.

I enjoy spending my free time with my husband John and our four children, who range in age from 16 to 28.   John and I look forward to becoming official grandparents to the newest member of our family, Nicholas Anthony Ki Dore’ Jr., in late November.

I consider myself blessed to part of the Saint Michael community and I look forward to another wonderful year with my Kindergarten kids.

Peace,
Patti Dore’
