Welcome to the Reading / Resource Room! As the reading teacher you will find me here three days a week in this ‘kid friendly’ environment where we pack in a lot of learning activities. I feel blessed to spend each day among the company of school children because it is a continuation of a life long dream. Good teachers have always been an inspiration to me. From Public Grammar School to Catholic High School, I always knew I wanted to be one. Fortunately my parents recognized this and sent me to Lesley College. I am grateful to this day. It was later on in my teaching career that I earned a certification to become a reading specialist.

I am truly a ‘seasoned’ teacher having taught at many grade levels in both the Lawrence and North Andover Public Schools. Throughout this time my life’s greatest blessing was to become the proud mother of two sons and two daughters, and later on the doting grandmother of three grandsons. When my daughters first became teachers I was so amazed that my two little girls had grown up and chosen this profession. It is a gift that lasts a lifetime.
