Mrs. Andrewchuk - Grade 4 (Room 4A)
Welcome to Grade 4A! I have been teaching at St. Michael School for fourteen years. I first began as a permanent substitute teacher but was later hired to teach grade 4. This will be my 12th year teaching the fourth grade. I truly enjoy being a part of this wonderful school community both as a faculty member and a parent.
I grew up attending a local Catholic elementary school and have always dreamed of teaching at one. Both of my children have attended St. Michael School since Pre-K. My oldest daughter graduated in 2009 with a solid education and a great Catholic school foundation. My youngest daughter is currently attending third grade.
My teaching philosophy is to make children enthusiastic about learning while building strong self-esteem and character. I strive to make learning fun by incorporating games, hands-on activities, SmartBoard lessons and more so that my students are always engaged in learning.
Parent involvement in my classroom is important to me. I am looking for parents to help with in-class projects, reading groups, field trips and sharing their gifts and talents with my students.
I am looking forward to getting to know my students and their parents during this year. I am always available to meet with parents to discuss any issues or concerns that they may have. I hope your child loves 4th grade as much as I do!
