Elizabeth Pelczar-Thyne
Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year!  My name is Elizabeth Pelczar-Thyne and I am working with Michelle Simpson as Co-Chairperson of St. Michael’s PTO.  As I am going into my second year serving in this position, I am excited about the changes in events that will be offered throughout this school year.I have been a member of the Michael Community for 17 years.  My son is a graduate of St. Michael School and my daughter is entering the fourth grade.  I respect how dedicated and hard working the staff is.  I value all that St. Michael’s School has offered to my children.  I believe the PTO is made up of every teacher and parent that is a part of this community.  My hope for this year is that each and everyone of you will consider attending a meeting, volunteering a little bit of your time, supporting school fundraisers, or participating inschool events. Michelle Caso Simpson
Hello Saint Michael’s Family and Friends!!!  My name is Michelle Caso Simpson.  This is my second year as one of the PTO Co-Chair Team along with Liz Thyne.  I am very excited to be part of the PTO Team again.  I have been actively involved in the Saint Michael School and Church Community since 1995 when my family first arrived in the North Shore Area.  My oldest daughter, Bryanne, was part of the first class of two of every grade expansion here at the school and recently graduated from Bridgewater State University with a degree in Graphic Design.  My son, Connor, graduated from SMS in June and is a freshman at Central Catholic.  My other two daughters are still here at SMS.  Carmynn is in the sixth grade and Cyenna is in the fifth grade.  My family and I have lived in Haverhill for sixteen years. 

The PTO is a vital part of our children’s lives here at SMS by supporting their education, their teachers and their futures.  The results of the PTO efforts directly benefit our children with new teaching tools, updated equipment, facility upgrades and fun-filled familyaffairs.All of this while building a strong community of FRIENDS!  This is going to be another wonderful year full of many laughs, new friends and everlasting friendships.  Please join us!  If I can help in any way, just ask!  I look forward to working with all of you throughout this upcoming year.
